I amazed myself and made this quilt in 3 days flat, from buying the fabric to completion.  It does help that it is only 42 inches square.  It is for a baby shower on Saturday.

 My kiddos love Christmas.  They like the tree and the lights, the cookies, the presents, the fact that it is Jesus birthday.  So they were quite excited when I started baking and set up our little tree.

Last night I finished the gingerbread house.

That is what the house looked liked for about 5 seconds.

BUT.....

Hehe.  Or Ho Ho Ho.  I did make it for them and they did enjoy it

Okay Hannah, I sewed today too.  I made a skirt and it would probably fit you better than me, but I am gonna keep it anyway and just do a lot of sit ups.  I like the color and the style.  I bought the shirt from Land End's overstocks.  There was a lot of fabric left.  I could make many bags or another skirt.

It has a zipper which was a first for me- it turned out okay.  The waist has a yoked band for a really structured fit.  That is why I need to do some sit ups :)
